I have been a client of the owner, Regina Leifheit, for 18 years. Now that says something about her work as a nail techinican and her personality! She is an expert when it comes to acrylic nails - the best without any repercussions. You can't compare her pedicures to anyone elses in the Tampa area. Your feet will never feel as good after this experience. Regina is one of a kind, she takes her trade seriously, always researches for best products and she has a winning personality. Trust me when I say you will be totally pampered after using any one of her services when you walk out the door. Go ahead, give Regina a try - you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Manicures & Pedicures, Shellac & Axxium no chip gel polish, Acrylic Nails, Gel Nails, Anti aging Facials, Acne and deep cleansing facial, Microdermabrasion, Facial waxing, 15 minute Brazilian waxing, Eyebrow Threading, Custom Spray Tan, Hair cut, Hair color and Hair Highlights.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Try the mini services first to get a feel for the business. Or come in and visit. Make arrangements for a meet and greet. How informative are they?
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Proper sanitation. We at Polish Nail and Day Spa Clean with antibacterial soap, Barbicide, then into a UV Sanitizer and then as a last step spray with a hospital grade disinfectant. Make sure where ever you try does at least three of the four for all the equipment and utensils.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our Manicures, Pedicures, Facials, Hair and waxing services stand out because of our attention to detail. We try to accommodate each guest to make their experience customized to their individual needs. Polish Nail and Day Spa has a service attitude. We love what we do and it shows.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. What we like most at Polish Day Spa is the transformation we get to be a part of in our guest. Whether it's physical or mental even emotional sometimes. We love making a difference and making guest feel cared about and more just a number. This a comment that we hear our guest say often.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. We are asked about service and product information. And we are then able to help educate guest on how things work, so they can be well informed and equipped if they are put in a position where they are not able to come to us and need to utilize another business ie.. out of town etc. Our first concern is that our guest receive the best where ever they go.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish customers knew that I believe in always doing the right thing, be it honesty or all the things you hope service industries are doing (Cleaning, disinfecting, proper education etc) even when no one is looking or will find out. We strive to go above and beyond.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have always loved all aspects of the beauty industry. Making people over head to toe.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Learn to market yourself. Don't expect to be handed a full book of clients. You have to be a go getter and get out there and get people in your chair.
