Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I worked part time as a nanny and personal assistant for two years, and every day I enjoyed it more than my "real" job. I enjoy managing projects and have always worked well under pressure.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. My most recent project was managing condo renovations and decoration. This involved coordinating measurements, the build of custom cabinetry, and completely re-doing the condo flooring. O'Hara Lifestyle Management was the main point of contact with the various vendors. The project took a total of 80 hours, and the total cost was $2800.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Anyone interested in breaking into this profession should do plenty of research and be very clear of their niche. Also, a need for flexibility and clear communication will ensure success in all of your client projects.
