FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for their demo. A professional voice-actor will have a good demo available for you to listen to. Once you determine that you want to hire this person, negotiate a reasonable rate. I have clients who pay a very low rate, but they will only get one read instead of many to choose from, and they will have to pay extra for any script changes. Also, pay in a timely fashion. You wouldn't tell the grocery store that you will be back to pay them for your groceries as soon as you get paid. Please don't expect your voice talent to wait until you get paid by your client. They provided you with great service when you needed them. If this is not possible, most voice-talents are willing to negotiate, just keep the lines of communication open! Have pay-pal!
