Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do research on detailers, visit their web sites. There are a lot of people that can easily start up a detailing businesses, but not many of them truly know how to detail. It is very easy for someone to do more damage than good. Check the products they use, and view pictures of their work.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Ask about the products the detailers use. Many of the store bought products have mineral spirits in them and can easily damage the finish on your paint and interior. Make sure they are using professional products, and are certified.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The response I get from my customers when they see the way their vehicle/ Rv looks when we get done with it, the look on their faces when they see the vehicle done is the best reward.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, the company that I purchase my products from continually has training classes, about new products and techniques. I also attend yearly detailing trade shows
