  It's nearly impossible to find someone these days who takes pride in their workmanship, pays attention to detail, or wants things done "the right way", instead of the quickest or cheapest way. If that's the type of contractor you're looking for, look your search should begin and end with Matt Metzger. When my wife and I found our home, we were sure it was exactly what we were looking for in a home. After we moved in we noticed our house had been hastily thrown together with every shortcut imaginable taken. We first used Matt when the entire frame of one our our entry door came blowing into our kitchen. Matt showed us where the original builder had shimmed in the frame with asphalt shingles, and how the frame was only secured in a few places. Since then, we have used Matt for five different projects, from small things such as putting in a kitchen backsplash, to a complete finish to an unfinished basement. At each point, Matt would show us exactly why he was doing things a certain way, and where other contractors might go wrong. Matt is knowledgable, polite, and has always been on time and on budget. The most surprising thing is that Matt almost always bids less then other contractors I've received bids from. He could charge much more, and it would be worth every cent. I can't recommend him enough.

  Great job - Talented guy! Matthew skillfully removed my old existing backsplash and the drywall behind it, and replaced it with a beautiful new custom backsplash! He even went with me to Home Depot to select and craft the new elegant design. Neat work and attention to detail is a must for me, and Matthew did not disappoint. His work was so clean and neat that I hired him to do some interior painting, and paint the exterior of our home as well!

  Matthew Metzger replaced some old vinyl flooring, and removed water damaged cabinets and replaced them. He was very professional, punctual and affordable. He didn't try to upsell me as many others usually do. He took his time to make sure everything was level, and sealed properly and he even cleaned up leaving my kitchen looking brand new. Will use his services again.
