- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get in my line of work cause it started out as a hobby. Ever since I was a kid I liked to take things apart and put them back together, trying to emulate my father since he is an electronic technician for many decades.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've done lots of laptop, desktop and printer maintenance and repairs including a handful of PC/printer new installs, moves and relocations in my career.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
In the real world it is impossible to satisfy everybody, so it is very nice to hear that a customer appreciates what the tech does for them in a timely and effective manner. The best proud feeling was when my Microcomputer PC Repair Team and I received an award plaque from Lenovo for Above Industry Standards Warranty Performance and Service. I never expected such an award just cause I was doing my job to the best of my ability. The plaque is on the wall in Upstate NY together with the photo of all of us. I will never forget such memorable event.
