- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am a certified Wedding planner and I attend many workshops to hear about upcoming trends in the industry and fun excited items to introduce to my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Unfortunately, I did not get all the things I wanted for my wedding and I don't want any bride to every have to feel that they wish they had more. What truly pushed us into opening Above The Rest Events was at all of the pre-wedding celebrations (Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Bridal Luncheons and Wedding Welcome Parties etc) everyone kept coming up to us telling us that we were in the wrong profession and needed to become event planners and do this full time. After attending many other lack luster events, we took their advice and the rest is history!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, Proposals, Anniversary Parties, Showers, Social Events and Corporate events. We pride ourselves in taking the time to learn about our clients and exactly what they are looking for so we can execute their vision and guarantee a successful event.
