It has been a year since my last update. Thanks to Jaclyn, I have lost 33 lbs. with her (38lbs. total since March 2012). I no longer have health issues--my blood sugar and cholesterol levels are back to normal. I look/feel the best I ever looked/felt in my life. I have not trained with Jaclyn for the last few months, however she has permanently changed my mentality about food and exercise. Case in point, I was starving while at BJ's last weekend. The old me would have scarfed down a hot dog. I stepped out of the food line, finished shopping, and drove to Relish Burger for a protein style burger. I struggle at times (you don't realize how difficult it is to go low carb at a Chinese restaurant) but by default, I eat protein style--meat, veggies, eggs, and nuts. The old me would never stepped into the weight room to lift and now I'm a regular. Thanks Jaclyn, for helping me get on the right track. You are infamous enough among my friends and family that they ask about you by name now =)

I have been working out with Jaclyn for nearly two years, and I can't imagine ever needing another trainer. I was seeking a new trainer after a few years of being a gym rat, pointlessly lifting weights to build up the look I was going for-but after only one workout with Jaclyn I realized how totally out of shape I was. Now my look has changed and I am stronger, faster, more agile and balanced than I have ever been in my life. I feel like my body is ready for anything, and that is the point. I have never met anyone more totally devoted to overall fitness than Jaclyn is, she is obsessed with it. She has studied every form of exercise you have ever heard of and many that you haven't, and is always uncovering new ones to study and add to her repertoire. She totally customizes exactly what your own, personal body needs, and no one gets the same treatment. She will surprise you constantly with new, interesting ideas and techniques, and like any good professional she is constantly refining and adding to them.

I honestly don't even know where to begin when it comes to talking about Get Fit by Jaclyn. In the past I have tried fad diets, working out with trainers at the mainstream gyms, doing it on my own, and setting goals but not following through with them. I kept trying and failing over and over again because I never grasped the mental part of health and fitness, the most important part in my opinion. This is one of the many, many things that set Jaclyn apart from the rest of the trainers out there. Jaclyn's philosophy revolves around having the correct mental philosophy and approach to fitness. No matter if your goal is to lose weight, gain strength, or simply get in shape, Jaclyn works whole-heartedly and diligently to create a plan that is designed specifically for you. It is truly a personalized experience, you are not just a number. Jaclyn is not just a trainer she is a coach pushing you each step of the way. Through working with her I have gained more confidence than I have ever had in my life or ever believed that I would have. She has showed me that I CAN do it and have never let me give up on myself even though there were definitely days that I wanted to. I have lost almost 30 pounds and a high percentage of body fat in the eight months that I have been training with Jaclyn. Although the numbers are wonderful, nothing can compare to how I feel now compared to when I first started. I have confidence, strength, and pride in myself and my body. To feel this way is truly priceless and I could not have gotten here without Get Fit by Jaclyn.
