About
Melissa Goldberg-Taylor, founder of Small Fish Big Fish Swim School, serves as the lead instructor and has carefully refined her swim lesson curriculum throughout her many years of being in the pool.
Melissa has been swimming since she was in diapers. Her passion for swimming came at early age when she joined a local swim team at age 6 and it has been with her ever since. Since those formative years, Melissa has continued to develop her skills as a swimmer and an instructor. She taught her first swim lessons as certified lifeguard in her high school years and was even certified as a Water Safety Instructor at age 16. Melissa went on to become a member of the University of Tampa's Swim Team and taught lessons throughout college to supplement her tuition bill payments.
Melissa Goldberg-Taylor has received numerous certifications that enable her to give you the assurance that you need. She is currently certified by the America Red Cross as a Professional Rescuer in infant child and Adult CPR and First Aid as well as AED, she is Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard and has several Padi certifications.
Throughout the years, Melissa has taught hundreds of children and adults the joy of swimming. Her favorite "little fish" and current enrolles in the Small Fish Big Fish Swim School include her two children.
