Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Your provider should have the ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail and have strong work ethic while having a strong creative, successful track record.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. They should have an idea of the color or type of flower they like for their wedding, but if they don't we will walk them through a process that will help them determine what they want for their special day.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our work stands out because of our cultural backgrounds which consist of a blend of American Indian, Caribbean, North and South American cultures. We also have an amazing team of professional floral designers, one of whom is AIFD certified - the highest certification a florist can have.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The ability to be creative.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most of our clients want to know where we get our ideas from. Our answer is : Apart from the trends that are set annually in our line of business, our ideas come from our clients. We like to get to know a bit about you: how you think, your passions, what makes you tick before we start our inspirational board for your event.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We were flown to Jamaica to the flowers for a 400 guest wedding. We shipped the flowers from Florida and had them cleared in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Customs held on to the flowers and we didn't get them until 8:00 the night before the wedding. We worked through the night and all of the next day. At 4:00 when the doors opened, we had finished everything. It was amazing and the bride could not stop thanking us!!!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We love what we do so much, we always go beyond what is expected of us....... and what is paid for. Our work is our passion.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Our AIFD floral designer goes to a convention every year. All trends, colors and new products for the following year are set, displayed and discussed at this 4 day convention.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. We just did a Jewish wedding for 350 guests. The bride wanted the Chuppa outside in the garden but the manager for the temple wanted her to have it inside because he thought it was going to rain. We had to wait until the last minute for a decision to be made before we could start to decorate the Chuppa with over 400 flowers. The reception room turned out beautiful with 30 large, lovely center pieces. Everything was exactly as the bride imagined it would be. She even called us the next day to thank us again. She was happy, we were proud!
