Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Automotive Service Works specializes in various auto repair areas. But the most common types of jobs we take on are complete engine swaps and transmission swaps. We specialize in engine related concerns including diagnosing driveability and suspension concerns. If your looking for the best quality in service for your car or truck or looking for good quality engine swaps and transmission swaps at affordable prices we are the right place for you.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Beware! Many Auto Shops claim they know everything about every car or truck made in the market. But the answer to that is obviously they dont! Look for a shop that has evidence there knowledge is proven and they have the experience to handle the job. Stop and think about how much money and time you will spend dealing with this person. Also pay attention to how they advertise and the quality of person your dealing with. Certifications are important, wether it be one CERT or 20 CERTS they need to have knowledge. Quality is something you cant put a price on so dont! Look for someone that takes pride in what they do! Price isnt everything, you can pay $10.00 for a $100.00 service but it doesnt mean the quality is up to par.

Mobile mechanics cant perform a service properly unless they to have the right place and tools to perform the job. Look for someone who is established rather then someone who can roll off tommorow and disappear.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I was a customer I wish that I would have known where a good reliable honest mechanic shop was. Now at days there arent alot of those. I would also wish that I was provided accurate information about certain details about my car. For customers today I would say one inside secret I can share would be make sure you ask the right questions and research the company you intend on dealing with that they are responsible and knowledgeable for what your looking for.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The most important detail would be to express in the simplest form what the problem might be that your having with your car or truck. Explain the noises or concern when they started and how long has it been. Model Make & year and engine size are very important.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Automotive Service Works Provides a Unique experience for every potential customer. We perform quality service & repair based on knowledge & experience. Every potential customer is treated with the highest prioritys. We use what we know to diagnose every car & truck right the first time.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. As owner and operator of Automotive Service Works LLC I love the fact that im able to provide a great service & experience everyone that comes to us can be happy with.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most people ask how can you offer such affordable prices on services that are priced in other places higher then usual? Well at Automotive Service Works we charge exactly what it costs to repair & service not a penny more.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Our goal is to get our potential customers to know that we offer some of the best service & repair. We cant stress this enough. Trying to make potential customers understand that quality doesnt come cheap is important. Its a huge comparison to many things we invest in other then auto repair. You cant put a price on quality in service. I wish customers would understand "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR".

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. The most recent and most memorable job I completed was a 2003 Honda Civic with a crank position sensor replacement. Customer called me multiple times expressing the fact that she had been quoted so many different prices but mine stood out and was as fair as it gets. It surprised me how customers shop so hard and how none of them stood by automotive standards. Labor time guides are available for a reason simply follow them and keep your prices fair. This customer was so thankful and is a repeat customer im honored to have serviced this customer because I kept them from trouble.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Automotive Service Works stays up to date with the Auto market in many ways, we attend on an annual basis one of the biggest industry trade shows SEMA LASVEGAS as well as attends various seminars and training seminars. We are also ASE Certified. Every 5 years we are required to renew our certifications by studying information and taking tests to continue to hold those certifications. We are also continuously keeping up with what is going on in the industry wether it be aftermarket or OEM.
