FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is the first work, I have ever done. My father is a master sewer and upholster. I was 8 years old when I touched my first sewing machine. By the time I was 12 years old I was using shop tools and mixing gel coats & appoxy. I love what I do, and will continue to do this until I retire.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Try to fix what you already have first. Reusing things like foam, zippers and buttons are a good way to save money. If not, have an experienced upholsterer make it new for you.
