Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love creating one of a kind pieces of art with my hands. Every project is treated with the utmost respect and 100% attention is given to detail. Every stone that we use is hand crafted and carved by a hammer & chisel to align perfectly with its new neighboring stones for all eternity. These were the same methods used to build the great pyramids and the great wall of China. Masons have handed down this knowledge and skill from generation to generation to insure the highest standards of masonry construction. Masonry is the oldest skilled trade in the world.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Recently there has been a demand fore stone systems such as simulated stone and even artificial stone panels. A breakthrough in masonry technology has been able to create masonry panels using natural stone and high strength masonry adhesives. This allows masons to increase productivity and accurately predict materials and labor costs. This system also allows for a great end result with lasting beauty and durability.
