FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University and the T Colin Campbell Foundation. I am not licensed, so I don't take formal CEU classes. I do however read whatever new books are out on Wellness. Lots of books are constantly coming out in the nutrition field. I don't believe in strictly adhering to a specific diet plan. This sets you up for failure and discouragement. Everyone needs to find what works for them. The basics are eating more whole foods and less processed foods.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly do phone coaching, but I am also available via Skype. In the past I have done private cooking classes, educational shopping trips and healthy kitchen makeovers. My time is limited, so I prefer to do the phone coaching/skype coaching so that I can maximize the my time and the number of people I can help.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you are looking for a Dietician or Nutritionist, I am not one of those. I am not going to prescribe a plan or tell you what to do, I am simply here for accountability and to help you figure out what will work for you and your family.
