Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Clear Water PSI provides services to residential, commercial and multi-family properties. We offer services that include sprinklers/irrigation, water well and water treatment systems. Proper licensing is held for these services.
Sprinklers/irrigation systems are designed and renovated, with general repairs and maintenance contracts provided.
Water well services include shallow well installations for sprinkler systems and well repairs including above-ground and submersible pumps, tanks and everything that keeps the water flowing for landscapes and inside the residence or building.
Water treatment & conditioning -- we customize systems to meet your personal taste and individual needs.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. #1) Landscape and sprinkler renovation, lake feed, water well: A property owner contacted us for assistance with the outdoor portion of their residential transformation. Our staff designed a full renovation of their landscape design, sprinkler system alterations and water supply. The end result - a unique aesthetic flare, efficient water use and a reliable water supply that provides a return on their investment.
#2) Water treatment overhaul - One of our water treatment service clients had concerns their system needed to be replaced. Our staff assured them although it was time to renovate the system we would save them thousands in comparison to replacing the units. They love their water quality and the savings!
#3) Shallow well installation - A referral from another contractor led us to a client suffering from HUGE monthly water bills spent to sustain their landscape. Our licensed water well contractor got busy, installed a shallow well that provides ample water for the sprinkler system which improved the coverage, eliminated the water bill and provides a stain-free water supply for their landscape.
#4) Soil moisture sensor - A client was consistently battling landscape and turf deteriorating every year. We provided relief from high water bills and improved the health of their landscape by installing advanced irrigation controls which monitors the moisture level in the soil. Most sprinkler systems are controlled by a sensor located near the roof of the house. By controlling their sprinkler system by monitoring the water in the ground they have a trouble-free landscape they can enjoy.

We specialize in mature properties and our installations create minimal disturbance to the lawn and landscape.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Sprinklers or irrigation contractors are required to be licensed in many counties within the state. Why is this important? Outdoor water use is the highest consumption of our water supply and can effect much more than a water bill. A licensed contractor provides a higher level of knowledge and typically provides a better end result that improves your property and protects the local environment.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Sprinkler and irrigation contractors in Central Florida are required to be licensed. Hiring a licensed contractor helps to insure that the work is completed by a competent individual that has the client's best interest in mind. Ask a prospective contractor a few questions -
1) Are you licensed and properly insured? (licenses can be verified on-line by most licensing agencies)
2) Will you provide me with a sprinkler design (new systems) or an as-built drawing (new systems, renovations, upgrades) for my files?
3) Do you have a current list of references for completed projects?
4) What is your warranty?
5) Can you provide me with a water schedule and anticipated amount of water consumed monthly and annually so I can estimate my water bill costs?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Specializing in sprinkler and landscape renovations since 1997, we understand the challenges found in mature properties. Our services have helped thousands of property owners reduce outdoor water use by 30-50% while improving the aesthetics of their landscapes. Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I have been in the water industry for over 30 years. After relocating to Florida, in 1997 I decided to create Clear Water PSI and focus on irrigation and landscape creations. My passion for the local environment directed me to assisting consumers, commercial properties and local governments with adequate water management practices combined with engineered systems designs to effectively sustain landscapes while protecting our water resources.
I learned early on that many systems just throw water everywhere instead of directing it to the landscape in a controlled manner. Inefficient systems have excess run off that enters into the environment through the storm water system, causing damages that go unnoticed by most.
As water rates continue to rise we have a few choices to sustain our landscapes. Change our water systems to prevent over watering (which may not include repairs!), upgrade or renovate to more water saving equipment, or turn off the sprinklers and watch the landscapes fade.
Clear Water PSI brings equitable solutions and answers to outdoor watering needs. Schedule a personal evaluation of your landscape and irrigation to start the process of creating your solution.
