One can become an AHA instructor in just these easy steps: 1. Obtain a current PROVIDER card in the discipline you wish to teach (such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, Heartsaver) 2. Align with an authorized American Heart Association Training Center that is accepting new instructors. 3. Complete the American Heart AssociationâÂÂs Core Instructor Course 4. Attend an AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS or Heartsaver Instructor Course 5. Teach your first course while being monitored by an AHA Training Center
