Happy Baby Solutions places full-time, part-time, and temporary nannies and babysitters with families in the metro Atlanta area.

We also place newborn and infant specialists, allowing mom and dad to get the rest they need after coming home from hospital, or any time during those first few months of life.

We are specializing in placing trained newborn specialists, who can also help with scheduling and sleeping patterns, if you desire.

We started in 2005, and we can meet all your child care needs with quality, experienced, background-checked, and trained caregivers.

I recently used Happy Baby for my 1 week old and was really glad I found them! The baby nurse they matched me with was very knowledgeable and helped me establish a sleeping routine for my son. Being a new mom I had so many questions about what I should be doing and the baby nurse knew just how to answer them. I would highly recommend them and I plan to use them for babysitting services once my son is a bit older!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We mostly place baby nurses/newborn specialists who generally provide overnight help on a temporary basis when parents come home with a new baby. However, we do also place full time, part time and temporary nannies and babysitters for those looking for daytime or as needed help.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. We encourage checking out several agencies, finding out their pricing and caregiver qualifications before choosing one agency. You may find several agencies that offer similar services, but one agency will be exactly what you are looking for. You want to find an agency that is personable and someone you feel comfortable with since they will be providing a caregiver for your most precious thing in life.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. We like to know:
*Age of your children
*Amount of time you need care (days/nights per week and for how many weeks/months)
*Any special requests as far as what you are seeking in a caregiver or what you'd like the caregiver to accomplish (get baby to sleep through the night, caregiver must know how to swim, etc)

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Our specialty is placing qualified newborn specialists (baby nurses) and we pride ourselves on providing not just "babysitters" but truly knowledgeable and trained caregivers that specialize in newborn development and care.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love being able to help families transition into parenthood whether they are new parents or already have children. Hearing how grateful they are with finding our services really makes our job worthwhile.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Q. What type of background check do you do?
A. We use a company here in Atlanta called Everifile. They take the caregiver's social security number, current address and birth date, enter it into their system and perform a felony/misdemeanor/criminal search that will search nationwide under all addresses they would have lived at.

Q. What is the screening process?
A. We do face to face interviews with all our caregivers. We require CPR certification and at least 3 years prior experience with children. We check their references and do their background check.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. We once had a client that had a baby who was "colicky" and wouldn't sleep. We went in and did a sleep consultation with the family and that night they said the baby slept longer than she ever had in her life. They wrote an email to us the next day saying how grateful they were to find us and were amazed at how well the baby slept. Helping people is such a rewarding job!
