I am a land surveyor located in the Athens area and, as many of you are experiencing, the economy has affected my business that every investment dollar I have has to pay off tenfold. I needed to update my laptop, so after some investigation, I contacted Tim to update my trusted 4 year old laptop computer. He did a personal review of my computer and made suggestions as to how to upgrade my laptop and to extend and maximize the use of it. He discussed the parts and costs involved. I was immediately impressed. When he completed the overhaul, Tim reviewed all the changes he made and brought to my attention the upgrades to the inner-working of my laptop. I must say, it works better than the day I first got it!!!! The laptop is infinitely more streamlined than it was before. In fact, I would now describe it as a "custom computer. I could not have bought a new on off the shelf like this. I definitely got back my investment and I plan to have him redo all my office computers. Tim's knowledge of computers and the internal components is superb. I prefer a more personal association in my business and Tim scored high marks for his efforts. I highly recommend Tim to anyone who needs to revamp their existing computers instead of buying another new one. Your new computer is right in front of you and Tim will make it happen and at a fraction of what that new one you are looking at spending your hard earned money on is going to cost.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate for customers that require an immediate fix on-site. That price changes with the amount of hours agreed upon. I can also take the equipment off-site and offer a flat repair rate. What ever the customer requires I can work a deal
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised next to a computer programmer in the 80's and grew up studying the ins and outs of the computer evolution. I had a gift with diagnosing and repairing computer issues. When I entered the IT corporate market i was a step ahead and had more resources to learn the more advanced technologies. It comes easy to me and I enjoy offering a advanced service for a reasonable price.
