FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most recently, we've designed hospitality projects, such as a number of restaurants and bars. We also provided space planning for several retail interiors (mattress retailer, coffee roaster, hair salon, gaming store, gourmet foods purveyor, fitness center, among others), assembly occupancies such as a martial arts training studio, an upgrade of an existing church building to accommodate child care, alteration of private school classrooms. Involving both interior alterations and exterior construction, we designed a new child daycare center addition for 85 attendees, upgrade of egress to a local public school to meet current codes. We have provided architectural services for new multifamily communities and mixed use developments, often involving extensive zoning and land use hearings, as well as negotiations with authorities having jurisdiction over these properties. In the recent past, we designed freestanding retail buildings for multiple occupants ("strip centers") and for just one or two occupants, such as convenience store operators and local restaurants. Our Principal spent several years designing branch banks and related financial institutions, and we have designed credit unions that were constructed by our construction documents, particularly on the campus of Fort Gillem, near Forest Park, Georgia. We have experience with industrial and warehouse buildings up to 100,000 square feet. We have designed more than 850 single family homes. Many of these were as collections for community developers and builders and may be available as "stock plans" through our website and through national publishers. A large number of our finest designs (not merely the largest) were for individuals as singular custom works, bespoke to meet their particular needs. We design to meet the client's needs and wants, we provide construction documents to get the project priced and permitted, and we assist our client in administering its construction.
