I offer bartending services for your private event - bachelor, birthday, wedding, yacht, house parties, etc.

I have 16 years of experience with clients from many different backgrounds. I will travel locally, nationally and internationally. I am attired to suit the affair.

Rates are negotiated based on complexity of service, location, and number of guests. Starting at $150 for first 4 hours, $25 for each additional hour. Tips are greatly appreciated.

Bookings should be placed at least 2 weeks in advance, bookings that require air travel should be booked at least 3 weeks in advance to spare expenses.

Travel charge is based on distance traveled, will travel anywhere, but client must pay travel expenses.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Cocktail parties in people's private homes, usually with a theme involved.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. You get what you pay for.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Wine and beer chill in 15 minutes in a bucket of ice, it takes over 30 minutes to chill in a freezer.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. How many guests are they expecting. What will they be serving, i.e. beer, wine, mixed drinks, martinis. Would they like a specialty drink for the event, i.e. Rum Punch for caribbean themed party. How many hours will the event be. What attire would you like me to wear. Where will the event be held, indoors, outdoors, private home, or event venue. Is there any special equipment you'd like me to provide, i.e. punch bowls, a table, table cloths, candles, bar decorations, etc. Do they need additional staff, i.e. servers, bartenders, performers, etc. Do they need additional services, i.e. caterer, florists, equipment rental, etc.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I provide personal service. I am fun energetic, and efficient. I get to know the wants/needs of my clients so they have little to concern themselves with during an event. I am honest and trustworthy, also discreet. I am reliable, and hardworking, and more than capable of getting things done!!

A. I am good at it.

A. Can I provide...??? Yes.

A. Every minute of doing what I do is a favorite for me.

A. Bartenders are an essential element to the success of an event, we are not just "hired help".

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Have always been customer service oriented. I was asked by a friend to bartend a music industry party, there was no turning back from there.

A. Confidentiality will not permit details. Let's just say music industry birthday party.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Stay current in SafeServe and TIPS certifications.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Bartending on a private level doesn't change much. There are different liquors/liquers coming on the market regularly. New ideas for specialty drinks.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Reception for 150 guests, beer, wine and mixed drinks, $450, 2 hours of service, 1 hour for set up/clean up.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Start at $150 for 4 hours, $25 for each additional hour, for up to 75 guests beer and wine w/limited mixed drinks.

75-100 guests is $35 per hour.

100 + guests add $20 per hour for each 25 guests.

Fees for additional staff vary per event and will be negotiated at time of booking.

If equipment is needed there is usually an additional $50 fee. This would cover basic bar decorations. If tables, tablecloths, centerpieces, etc. are needed the price will be determined at time of booking.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Be sure that you know everything involved, this is not a simple business. If you do not enjoy people and parties, don't waste your time.
