FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep in contact with fellow photographers to exchange ideas and share critiques, shoot regularly to try new concepts, and stay up to date on developing technology and trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a creative household - Mom was an art teacher and Dad a chef, and after exploring various expressive mediums decided photography was my favorite.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Model testing and headshots are great because they challenge you creatively, and I especially love watching someone relax and grow in confidence as the shoot progresses. As a lover of fine food, restaurant shoots are terrific because of the endless variety of food and decor. From focusing on just the food to capturing and communicating the atmosphere for diners, it is truly enjoyable. Salons, boutiques, and hotels/B&B's offer similar scenarios.
