Introduction: I am a certified accelerized golf instructor operating in the Atlanta Metro Area. My career began in Orlando, Fl. where I trained under master PGA professional Andre Panet-Raymond. I have been teaching in Atlanta for five years. During this time, I was the head golf professional at Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, Ga. I currently teach beginners to professionals at Northcrest Driving Range, in Norcross, Ga. I began teaching after a competitive career of professional tournament play, because I enjoy and have a passion for helping others.
Golf is a tough game, and I will provide you with the right fundamentals to keep you on track!

Mr. Ed Halsell is a great teaching professional. I am a novice in every sense of the word. My extent of golf knowledge was very limited . Ed takes everyday activities that you have done in the past and helps you apply those same fundamentals to your golf game. I went from having little knowledge of golf to hitting drives over 200 yards and straight. He is exceptionally patient and breaks down the game in a manner that even lay people can grasp. After ten lessons with Ed, I definitely feel comfortable getting out there and am finding myself becoming addicted to the game. I would highly recommend him for any level of golfer.

Eddie Halsell is a talented instructor (and player!). He customized my swing from set up to finish while teaching sound fundamentals of the golf swing. His instruction is easy to understand and detailed so that my backswing, downswing and impact gave me the results I wanted. Eddie's playing lessons are second to none. He developed my mental game so that I could enjoy playing the golf course instead of just going through the mechanics of my swing for each shot. Eddie has been my golf instructor for 3 years, and he is the only instructor I trust my golf swing.

Had my first lesson and already feeling more confident
Ed highlighted and corrected 3 things for me in my first lesson and laid out a plan over the next 5 lessons to get my game where I want it to be.
Looking forward to my next lesson
Would recommend him to anyone looking to lower their score

We found Ed's contact from thumbback and we agreed to have 8 lessons for myself and wife and payed upfront for all the lessons on our first meeting. Ed seemed to be a nice guy, and professional. We did our first lesson and Ed was a no show after that. No response to calls, texts or emails. It has been 2 months trying to contact him. I DO NOT recommend him for any one for lessons. If you decide to sign up with him DO NOT pay upfront!
