Goal(s) of golf lessons
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: People like me, it's one thing to take a golf lesson from an instructor but the rapport is important when you spend time with any individual you give your money and time to. I hope to give each student/customer the best experience possible, so when they leave me and get into their car, the first thing they say is "Damn that was Fun" I enjoy working with the people I meet. Giving them the opportunity to learn the golf swing. There is no better feeling or joy seeing and watching a person get results after spending time (45 minutes) with me on any given day.

Michael started by asking questions about my game and my concerns. He than watched me hit with my driver and a short iron. What I liked best about Michael's approach was that he did not try to change anything, he said that my problem was pace on my downswing. We worked on it in 4 sessions and it helped my swing alot. We spent alot of time on my pitching and chipping because I had indicated that both were of a concern. Both of those parts of my game have really inproved. One lesson on putting has helped that part of my game as well. Michael was very personable and made me feel very relaxed during the sessions. The best thing was that he listened to my concerns and didn't try to make alot of changes, which other pros I have taken lessons from tried to do. I highly recommend Michael, I really enjoyed my time with him and my game has improved. I would certainly go back to Michael for more lessons with no hesitation.

Absolutely the BEST teacher I've ever had. What has impressed me most about Michael's teaching style is that he took what I had, and made adjustments to my form and timing without recreating everything. The results have been incredible! Not only am I hitting the ball truer than I have in years, but I am shaping shots, I never shaped shots! I am hitting clubs farther and on target. Micheal's approach is wonderful and fun. I will be recommending Michael to my friend's and competitors. Think about how much fun it will be to have all my playing partners playing to their true potential and then getting together for a little Skins Game. Thank you Michael, you've restored a love for this game that I have not felt in years. Fairways and Greens!

My handicap index had hovered between 29 and 33 (You're asking yourself, "Why does he bother?") for too many years. I hadn't broken 100 for at least 3 years. I'm 64, so you can cut me a small break. I took lessons in New Jersey, Colorado and finally Atlanta before I discovered Michael. I took a series of 4, half-hour lessons from him, beginning in August. He changed my grip (painful, but I was desperate) and talked about getting to "10 o'clock" with my backswing. I hit almost two thousand balls during the period of Michael's teaching and played almost no golf. In recent weeks I not only broke 100, I broke 90 twice, at the Bobby Jones Course here in Atlanta. (It's only 5,800+ yards and 117 slope, but I know my new game will translate to longer courses.) My game was as badly broken as it could be. Michael fixed it with a grip change, which oddly enough, allows me to make a bigger turn. I'm still working on the tempo part. But I now get the ball airborne...with distance. Michael is a good listener, a patient coach and a fine instructor. We're gonna work on my short game this winter.

I am a beginner but I come from a family that loves golf. Michael is a GREAT coach and teacher/instructor. He is knowledgeable, professional, and has a great personality! We hit it off immediately (I initially bought a small groupon package and I ended up buying multiple packages thereafter.) I took a bit of a hiatus - like...a year!? (but don't we all, with this crazy and infuriating game!?) and I actually just got back in touch with him to get going again with private lessons. I started out hitting the ball 60 yards (on a good swing) with my 7 iron, and I just hit the same club and made 140 yards at Top Golf!) I owe that to Michael! I can't wait to get back to lessons. He is adamant about practicing, wants to see his clients improve, and has given me confidence that with practice and his teaching, I can be a "real" golfer and not just someone who "has potential" I highly recommend Michael.

Michael is a great instructor. I was a relative beginner although I had taken group lessons elsewhere a few years ago. The weekend after my first lesson with Michael I played a round and my friends were all incredibly impressed with the improvements I had made. I would highly recommend him.
