Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work stands out due to my ability to be creative and adapt to different needs and wants. My designs can change dependent on the client, while always remaining unique. I come from a different cultural background and so I can bring culture to the designs when appropriate. All of my designs are always perfected with time and attention. I am very detail oriented and so the simplest designs will have intricate details that are impossible to replicate. Not only will I use my computer softwares to design but I have used more hand created drawings/structures for a more "natural" feel. I go the extra mile and it is shown in my work!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love being able to work with different types of people and working on new designs allows me to learn something new and exciting about someone. There is always a story to be told in a design and every one has always made me intrigued. I love the interaction with clients and being able to toss around ideas and thoughts - and I love clients being critical about my work. It is their ideas and I am just making it come to life (so to speak) and so I encourage the critics - it will only help me improve! Because in this job there is always room for improvement and that is another thing I love about this job!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Customers ask me where I get my ideas from. I answer by saying that it comes from my experience and background. Since I come from a background where clothing and decor is very intricate, I am easily able to implement this style in my designs - making it look very complex or simple - whatever is desired. Customers ask me how I am able to keep my prices low. I answer by saying that a lot of times designers overcharge, stating that it will take so many hours to complete a design - well I find the need to be honest, at least for myself. It does not take as long as some may make it out to be and so charging outrageous rates just would not be fair.
