Our methods: Lighthouse Tutoring will give each client a free first-time consultation to determine rates and which method will work best for the client. The consultation can be over the phone or in-house, depending on the client. We aim at combating the rising tide of mediocrity and apathy by becoming experts at the business of creating engaging work for students. Lighthouse tutoring will strive to mold students into complete innovative thinkers by focusing on three pillars: innovation, education, and cultivation. Our services include: * Socratic seminar * One-on-one tutoring * In-house tutoring * Outside-house tutoring Our mission: Lighthouse Tutoring specializes in Socratic seminar learning experiences. By engaging the student in peer groups, students have the opportunity to learn and teach. We aim at combating the rising tide of mediocrity and apathy by becoming experts at the business of creating engaging work for students. Subjects taught include: * Math - basic Math, pre-algebra, algebra, linear algebra, trigonometry, statistics, calculus, and differential equations * Science - biology, chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry * Other subjects - Most subjects in high school and middle school can be covered by Lighthouse tutoring. During the free consultation we can discuss and evaluate the subject matter and courses to make sure that you are getting the best service. Clientele: We offer free first-time consultation. We welcome middle school students to post college graduates. We specialize in teaching Math and Science. Our tutors have BS degrees. We have experienced tutors who are qualified and trained. Our rates are $10 to $30 an hour.
