I am a Jack of many trades. I do moving, heavy lifting, trade show work, set-up/breakdown, cooking, household chores, painting, and some electrical work (i.e. ceiling fans). I also assemble anything that needs to be put together.

I also have an innate skill with literature, words, and poetry. Any papers that need writing or any words that need editing, I'm your man.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. My advice would be that a lot of experience is not always the way to go. Someone who is passionate about what it is they're doing would work just as well and in some cases better.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I'd wish that I knew the in and outs as well as the lessons that were learned about the trade through the proven process of trial and error.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How well the job can be done as well as the level of confidence the provider has in the service they are providing.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like the act of putting things together, be it words, furniture, dishes, or ceiling fans. Something about seeing all the pieces come together to make a perfect whole really appeals to me...

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. One of my favorite stories was one day a friend and I had two moving jobs scheduled back to back. The first job took us to the Washington Park area. The woman we were helping move was so shocked at how well we worked together. As I was going to get something else he was bringing in another piece. The look on her face was priceless.
