** Please Note: ** If serious about lessons, please call or google "atlanta music lessons. wordpress". Thanks
Music has always been a part of my life. I first began taking music classes as a teen when I was accepted into an arts-based magnet school. I studied classical voice and musical theater. I went into college as a music major (B.A. music composition, Auburn University) and continued to study voice and composition.
I decided to go into teaching elementary a couple of years ago, and have found great pleasure in it. I learned so much in the elementary school system, and I started to apply it to teaching music.
I continue to song write, compose and perform under the music project nerdkween. I am eager to inspire people to create for themselves.
Are you interested in learning how to sing?
Whether you are wanting to build self-confidence, preparing for an event, or you want to pursue a career, I can give you the support you need.
I focus on breathing techniques, posture, diction and articulation. I can help you learn your favorite song with ease. You will learn to sing stronger, sing higher, and sing with complete confidence in all styles, including gospel, blues, rock, pop, jazz, musical theater, classical, country and opera with amazing high notes, great power and control, and an amazing vocal technique that will last a lifetime.
People wonder how many lessons are needed to become “good” or “great”. That depends on you and how devoted you are to be the best you can possibly be. Think of it this way, the best athletes in the world (and singers) continue to train, in order to produce the best results.
So, are you interested in playing piano?
I can teach you how to play your favorite song! I can design your lessons around the song or songs you would like to learn. My specialty is in songs with vocals, and I will break down a song for you, to teach you to play. Also, you’ll learn exercises to develop playing technique and music theory knowledge, as well as practical skills, such as ear training, sight reading and notation to give you the confidence to play the style of music you prefer.
