- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every event is different based on items and services needed and location. We are very passionate about working with a client's budget and brining them ideas that will fit within that budget. Whether you have a low or high budget our goal is to find creative ways to accomplish it with quality and superior customer service. Each of our customers is important to us and their event becomes our event no mater how large or small. It is about pride and being proud of our work...it is personal for us at Voo Doo Pop.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We normally start with a phone call or email to discuss the type event and needs of the customer. I like to then meet with the customer in person to discuss more detail and I will always have some ideas and samples to bring to the meeting based on our original call. Once we get into the planning process we become a team to execute the event to be exactly as the customer expects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began in a family catering business over 30 years ago and continued with my own catering and private chef work. I have also worked with several event companies doing event planning over the last 15 years. I believe in this business you have to build your experience with hands on and being in the fire to see if you can stand the heat. I do have formal education in business, marketing and accounting.
