Introduction: My style of coaching is to keep the lessons simple and fun, until you have mastered the fundamentals of tennis. And then, I will pick up the pace to the level of your comfort zone. I've been coaching tennis for over 20 years and I have had success in sending students to college on a tennis scholarship. My high school team won the region three years in a row.

Every time I'm on the court, I have fun, learn something new, and always break a sweat, which is amazing. I'm so grateful to have blue tennis in my life. I really enjoy playing tennis with team blue tennis. The atmosphere is generally just lovely. The coach gives off great encouragement and motivation vibes.

It was a pleasure to be trained by Coach Mitchell. Starting out around 2012-2013, I was searching for something to do during the cheerleading off-season. At the time, Coach Mitchell was looking for players so I went to the try outs. That day changed my entire perspective about the game of tennis. Coach Mitchell took his time with explaining the game, saw potential in me, and helped to play a huge role in having a passion for tennis. He’s extremely professional, prompt, and shows a genuine love for the game. He created a comfortable yet fun environment on AND off the court. What I remember most was the motivational talks and pointers when our team would face opponents more experienced, but the techniques he put in place made me confident. Overall, I’m overjoyed with my results and still use what I’ve learned today.
