I have been playing the violin for over 13 years, and have about a year's worth of teaching experience with beginning students of all ages.
I am a former high school concertmaster, an alumnus of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and an active performer and accompanist in the local Atlanta music scene. I am also a full-time undergraduate student at Georgia Tech.
In addition to violin, I play guitar, bass guitar and drums, with fluency.
I am offering private lessons for beginners on any of the instruments mentioned above, and violin instruction up to advanced level. Violinists with some experience who are looking for their first teacher are especially encouraged to contact me.
My lessons will combine the development of basic music theory with both technical and expressive instrumental ability.
Music is the joy of my life and I'm passionate about sharing that joy with a high level of encouragement and an enthusiasm for creativity.
