Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I would want a vocal coach who was knowledgeable in technique and had performance experience. Just knowing how to sing and not knowing the mechanics of singing can lead to bad technique which leads to vocal cord damage.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer I'd want to know what is the secret the stars use and that I know:)
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Can the vocal coach sing? Can the piano teacher play piano? How many students do you average? How long have you been singing? What's you're performance experience? What's your educational background?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Do I have time to dedicate myself and practice? Do I get frustrated easily? Do I really LOVE to sing and am I willing to study my craft?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I was kind of thrown into coaching and I've grown to love teaching. I have experiences will all ages. I have a variety of experience including musical theater and classical performance and training. I have been in the entertainment industry for 10+ years. I currently own and operate an artist development company :) www.thekreativekulturehous.com
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love when my students " get it!" and I love watching a singer become an artist. I love learning new things about the voice and vocal technique.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. how do I fix my vocal break? I respond by explaining to them it's about fixing vocal tension through vocal release warm up and vocalize exercises.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. This skills is developed over time with experience. It is not something I believe you can solely learn in college.
