Steve Amerson designed my website for my business, Savannah Avenue Pet Sitters, and it is fantastic! I am so very proud of his creativity and attention to detail! I am sharing it with everyone! Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How do I make my site to get seen by the ones I want to see it and I would tell them, 'network'. Networking is the best way to “spread the word”. Honestly, how we used to hear, “word of mouth” is the best advertising for me, from the older generation, STILL holds true today for networking IS todday’s “word of mouth”.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. mmmm I would say it is relationships. I learned long ago from my grandfather that Everything in life is about Relationships. I know the people that work with me develop them and we tend to gravitate to those that wish to think this way. In a good relationship of communication - EVERYTHING is possible and all obstacles can be overcome - the end result being - your relationship is just stronger.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I LOVE the creative Energy, the 'ON FIRE' personalities I meet. Now that i think of it, and it may sound a bit kinda 'cliche', but i find that most every one has Creative Energy if they are in a welcoming evnironment in which they are respected.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. If I have ever ridden a horse... lol jk - just that I am a boy from dirt roads in South Georgia and we had horses as I grew up so I do get asked that, and Yes I have ridden one, broke one in and gotten a broken arm from one.
A common asked question about work? "How much is it"? I answer that it is what is good for YOU, US and the Customer."
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I have this customer in Hollywood that purchased some phones from me once, and we made his website. He told me that my phones were going to be on a set. His company built props for a T.V. sitcom recording studio - I did see that show and YES, there were my phones on TV. I left a logo on the handset and the colors showed on the screen. That made me smile with a chuckle.
