Question and answer

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Do you accept kick backs from other vendors? What are your qualifications? Can you provdie references? What is your policy regarding customer satisfaction?

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The most amazing part of my job is making dreams come true. I love taking someone's vision and turning it into a reality. In addition, I enjoy offering these services at an affordable price which allows me to show that I am focused on my client and not just a profit margin.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Planning weddings is a very complicated business and not everyone can do the job efficiently. It is also important to be reasonable with your requests and recognize that your wedding planner has your best interests in mind. It is also critical that you are always open and honest with all professionals that will be a part of your wedding.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. After working in the Sales & Events Department for several years, I realized that I had a passion for Weddings. I also realized that the industry needed more professionals to assist brides. After struggling to find true professionals for my own wedding, I new it was time for me to start my own wedding planning business. That was in 2002 and the rest is history.
