FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Of coarse i try to stay competitive but i also know that there are a lot of people calling themselves photographers who are just picture takers. Buyer beware!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My photography experience of 30+ years has run the gamut. I started out shooting weddings as a second shooter in a family business when i was in my teens and early twenties. I ran my own studio where I focused on portraits, headshots for actors and comp cards for models. I also did a lot of maternity and boudoir. I was able to put myself through college. Basically as a photographer i have shot just about any genre you can think of. Each genre has its own rules, but the foundation and mindset to get those special shots is what is important.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have an idea of what you want to shoot. What do you wish to accomplish with your photo shoot? Do you have an idea of what you would like the end result to look like? How many looks would you like to shoot? How many people will be involved? Estimated length of time?
