Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I've been working with and training dogs for over 25 years. My goal in training is to help you to enjoy your dog even more and to help the dogs be the best they can be. In boarding your dog, while you're away on vacation or for business, my goal is to make sure your beloved baby has a great time, so you can rest and relax or stay focused on your business. In having your dog here for Board and Train, the goal is to teach them in a positive style that will stick with them and become a part of who they are! I give them a solid foundation and then give you the knowledge and understanding you'll need to carry it on throughout their life!!! I'll be here for you and your dog from that point on, assisting in anyway that I can! The same goes for private training classes here at Praising Paws! You'll have lifetime support! Private classes are $20.00 for a half hour session and $40.00 for a full hour. Together we will make sure your sweet dog has the knowledge necessary to be a fun, happy, and thriving member of your family! Want to do CGC, therapy dog training, or Service Dog training? We can do that too! At Praising Paws, we want to help you praise the paws that you love! I love it all! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life!

DNEA a is a very trusting and wonderful person . She helped me train my two Australian Shepherds and help relieve them of some anxiety and social issues as well as following basic commands. She is the only person I let keep my dogs when I'm away.

I have three Old English Mastiffs and wouldn't trust their care or training to anyone other than D'Nea. I have used her services for the past six years. All of my fur-kids have been through her obedience classes with two of my girls completing all three levels. I travel quite a bit, and am grateful to have a loving, Christian family for them to stay with while I am gone. Knowing they are pampered just like I would treat them at home gives me real peace of mind. I have referred several friends to D'Nea and know they feel the same.

If you are looking for a caring and loving person to train or care for your baby you have found one in D'Nea. I have a shi-poo that has a heart murmur. D''Nea is the only person that I would trust to take care of her! I have known her for years! She is a great trainer, I know first hand because she trained my baby!

DNea did a fabulous job helping us train our dog. She's got such a positive attitude and always helped as with any questions we had. Whenever we go our of town, we bring our dog to DNea because we know our dog will be safe and loved on while we are gone. We like knowing our dog isn't stuck in the kennel all day like she would be at the vet. DNea provides excellent services and is a pleasure to work with!

Dnea has worked with and thought us how best to train our giant Dane puppy for the past year. Her patience, knowledge and love for all the animals is obvious. We've boarded both our dogs with her a number of times and they are always excited when we drop them off again, and in great spirits and well taken care of when we pick them up.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been training dogs for over 25 years and am an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I began having an interest in dog training with my first dog as a teenager. I took classes with my lab, Raven, and she really struggled with it. It was often quite embarrassing in the class, but we hung in there! By the end, I developed a true love for the training process and amazingly, through our hard work (mine and Raven's!), she ended up earning a ribbon for second place in the class competition! A new love formed from the experience of that first training class and I knew this would be something always in my life. In my early 20's, I worked for a Vizsla and Doberman breeder, in north GA, who showed her dogs around the world. I ran her kennel at her home and was responsible for them all whenever she was out of town, which was frequent with the number of shows she did. My job was to do all the normal care for her large number of dogs, including feeding, exercising, medical care, cleaning up after, bathing and nail care, socialization, and training. This truly solidified my love for working with dogs and I went from working for others to working professionally for myself with clients. I also worked for around 5 years for a big box pet store in Macon as the lead dog trainer in the store before deciding to start up Praising Paws. Sharing my love for dogs is a dream come true for me and I look forward to meeting you and your dogs!
