- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience and reputation are the two most critical factors in selecting a residential contractor. Find a contractor that can assist with design IE traffic patterns, site lines, visual balance and how to generally improve the value of your residence. Find a contractor that understands how to select low maintenance, environmentally friendly finishes and energy efficient systems that make your space not only more comfortable and healthy, but also saves you money over the life of your new space. Your contractor must have a thorough knowledge of building codes, and products, that will insure that your resale value is protected, as well as the security of your family. Your contractor must have solid business principals that are clear and understandable, with a track record of success. You should review his contract so you completely understand the terms of your agreement. You do not want a contractor that is in financial trouble during the course of your project.
