Hello! I am a custom builder, who has a very reasonable pricing structure, and is completely customer driven.

Following is a brief description of what I specialize in:

With 18 years of carpentry experience, I specialize in building cabinets, bookcases, dresser drawers, stairs, interior and exterior doors, bars, windows, built-ins, organizational shelving solutions, countertops, wooden garage doors, office furniture, desks, tables, outdoor furniture, laminates and veneers.

I build, as much as possible if not the entire project, in my personal shop to alleviate any distractions to a client's normal everyday life. Your carpentry needs are my priority. Paying attention to detail and performing professionally is a must.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Building all types of furniture, building custom doors and cabinetry

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask for pictures of recent work and verifiable refrences of the work is a must.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would have to say patience patience & more patience is the secret to developing a top notch product & never accepting anything less.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. All most customers need to have is a general concept of what they are looking for.I provide design aspects of woodworking as well.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work stands out for one simple reason "QUALITY"

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I LOVE what i do & it makes my customers happy

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. A lot of customers ask how i learned to do what i do. I tell them by paying attention over the years to a good friend who taught me and a lot of just building on my own and perfecting the trade over time.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Yes. It is the first time my young daughter came in my shop, I was a little aprehensive at first, but next thing i know she was playing in all the saw dust. She still loves to play with saw dust any chance she gets.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That it is and always will be a labor of love.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I just always knew I was good with my hands & always have liked working with my hands.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Building a mahogany bar for a client. It took a little longer than anticipated, but was definitely worth it when the client said "I LOVE IT"

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes. I am always attending workshops,conventions and always reading on the new development & improvements in my field.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The newest thing right now is a shop saw table that prevents woodworkers from cutting their fingers, its called sawstop. Its a pretty cool innovation.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. most recent project was an executive desk. The client specifically wanted a desk that would stand out when his clients were in his office. I kept the price right in the range he wanted to stay so we could both be content. This project too one week from conception to delivery.

A. All projects are based on an individual basis

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. I would suggest them to first work for a couple of high end millwork companies and pick the brains of well experienced good carpenters and do as much research and reading as possible. Also get a subscription to a magazine about the trade.
