I have a genuine interest in making my clients event special. I love working with them to create the vision they want. An event Dj has to have a very unique set of skills. They need to be a planner, organizer and entertainer. Knowledge of sound, lighting and video equipment is also very important. They need to be able to transform your vision of your event into reality. I have the experience, equipment and know how to do all these things. Everyone loves a great party, i'm no exception. I feel that the planning process should be as stress free as possible. Thats why my clients get a planning web site. The better we plan together upfront the better the event will go. I like to under-promise and over-deliver for my customers I think that has been one of the keys to my success.

Total Concept Entertainment & Lighting did an excellent job providing professional and excellent Karaoke and DJ Services for my husband's 50th Birthday Party. They were in constant contact via email prior to the party to provide us with a list of songs available and to recieve any special song requests we desired for the party. I was impressed with their early arrival to set up their equipment and prepare for the party. Our guests were definitely impressed with being able to use their smart phones to make their karaoke requests and the DJ services provided. I would definitely use Total Concept Entertainment & Lighting again for future celebrations. Shawn

If you want to have a wedding where instead of everyone just quietly saying, "It was beautiful" afterward, they will be exclaiming for years, "What a FUN wedding!!!" then hire Bobby, owner of Total Concept Entertainment & Lighting! We hired him for our daughter's wedding, and were very impressed with his professionalism and hands-on approach during every step of the planning. He responded to all our questions and requests in a timely manner, and wisely handled any music preference differences among the participants, finding what worked for everyone. Many of the guests remarked how great the music was, and what a terrific job Bobby did keeping everything moving and fun during the reception. I didn't have to give a second thought to any of the mechanics of the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, because it was all in very capable hands. Bobby made sure each participant felt "ownership" in the planning, the process, and the music, and masterfully "read" the crowd and oversaw the timeline at the wedding. Like I said, I had no worries, and was free to have a blast! He even worked with our videographer to coordinate the sound equipment during the ceremony and reception. The lighting was very tastefully done and beautiful. I can whole-heartedly say that Bobby is worth every penny ... and far more. If you're on a tight budget like we were, go ahead and skimp on the decorations ... and get a ton of value for your money with Bobby, and FUN that will live on in everyone's memories for years!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing for Thumbtack customers is simple. I offer a fair price for my services. Often 30 to 40 percent less than I'd normally charge. But I take into account the fact that I have less marketing expense so it's a win win for both of us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly looking for better techniques or equipment to stay up to date. I invest in improving things so that my client has the best exsperiance.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out with a karaoke company and we played music on breaks. I was trained by an old school radio DJ. Moving into the Dj business was a logical progression.
