A. Personalty I think a customer should learn more about what they ask for in their hair. I would prefer they have an idea what hair style they are aiming for some that take some of the weight off my shoulders. Also, knowing your hair is also a great start because not all hair types hold all styles. Example: straight hair may be harder to breaks with weave but, also permed hair may damage due to being overprocessed. Have a little knowledge of the type of hair goes with what hair style. Customers can also make our jobs stress free by understanding that certain styles requires more time and that you can add too much pressure when you are impatient. Always allow someone time.to perform well and without the rush! Learning to give credit when its due can save an one man army an headache. Sometime we just need you to further understand or work and to realize we are aiming to get you right. LOL
A. When it comes to my work I feel there are many aspects that make me a great stylist. Being a great stylist is not only your finished product but,how you make a customer feel! I leave all my customers feeling grand and aim high to make sure their demands are catered to. Great customer service is the key to getting someone to stick to you. First impressions are also something you dont want to fail you. Ppl remember how you treat them but most of all how you present yourself!
A. Braiding hair is not so much of a hard job to do..yet it can be challenging, and exciting! I wish some ppl wont understand that it is a very demanding job and it requires a lot of time. Although a lot of ppl are charging small prices for their hard work the price can never amount to the time we spend making you look at your best. My advice is this, if you come across a stylist who charges small prices and work twice as hard please appreciate their time. Time is pricesless..... Be respectful of their work and patient in the moment because at the end it will all payoff! Also, hold on to that person because not all stylist are taking the much needed steps and putting in time but, rushing for a quick buck. Thank you :-)
