Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I just want people to know that I want to help, and I don't think it should cost a arm and a leg to make that happen. Yes I am well aware that I am a IT Pro, but I shouldn't charge you as if I was a Doctor or Lawyer. I believe that cost should not be the reason why you can't get you computer fixed.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Because we pay attention to details, that will save you money. For example: I have a client that was told that she need a wireless router, so that she can have access to the internet all over her house. She called G&E so that she could get help to picking out the best router for her needs. Well I came out to talk with her, and the first thing i did was to look at her DSL modem, well it turn out that she did not need a router because the DSL modem was wireless ready. A. I love computers and what they can help you do. I love making sure people get there computer fix and fix right.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much will fixing this computer cost me? Well at G&E that is something you will not have to worry about. See we are people too and we can see what the economy looks like, and it a mess. We know you don't have spendable income to waste. We are going to fix your computer a the lowest possible cost, and if we can't fix your work station or laptop we will only charge you $39.99, for the basic diagnostics over view. Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. The reason that I got in to Information Technology was for the knowledge base. I just wanted to make sure that if I took my computer in for service, If I knew that it was the modem that was the problem and not the land card that the service tech told me. And now I try to teach or show my client what the problem maybe so that if it happen again. They will be a well informed consumer.
