I specialize in craniosacral therapy, a manipulation of the connective tissues on the inside of the skull, spine and tail bone, the goal of which is to unwrinkle and unwind chronic tension patterns associated with pain responses in the body. Basically, I iron out the wrinkles on a sheet inside your body.
I also do deep tissue, myofascial release, hot stone therapy and some reflexology.

I made an appointment on the recommendation of a friend and am very thankful I did. Michael worked on me for a bit over an hour and undid more years of stress, frustration, tightness, and pain than I thought possible. He is warm, friendly and professional. I know it sounds dorky, but one session truly can be life-changing. My body is happier, my mind is calmer and my spirit feels reconnected!

Michael is the best. He will find the source of the problem and fix it . . . whatever it takes. I have never had a therapist with his sticktoitiveness if that is a word. I thought I had permanent nerve damage until I saw Michael. The pain is gone, and I have given up my medicine. On another note, he should cost a lot more . . . so that should tell you even more about him. Thanks, M.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure they are licensed by whoever governs that licensor, make sure they have attended the hands-on cranial seminars. Ask for references and who they have Insurance coverage with.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Craniosacral therapy is so very effective at helping you rid your body of unwanted pain, tension and post traumatic stress of any kind; from migraines, car accidents and emotional trauma. The secret to a great massage is trusting your body, your therapist and the processes your body needs to unwind the tension.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I believe that anyone is entitled to some manner of care for their body. I believe Craniosacral is one of the most effective forms of care you can give your body. I also believe that care for your body should not cost you your clothes.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The innate trust that people offer to me to help them heal themselves and the wonderful things that client let go of with just the gentlest touch.

Can I be nude? Of course you can, however state law requires that clients be draped professionally.
Does it hurt? No, it does not.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. A client came in with unmanageable pain in her sacrum and had this pain for quite sometime. It would keep her up at night and all manner of things. I set about my work and discovered that there was an energy cyst trapped in her sacrum for sure. I gently places a hand underneath her sacrum and one very lightly on top of her pelvis and asked her body to recognize what the problem was and get rid of it. Withing 10 minutes I felt heat, she gasped, sighed and the pain was gone. Forever. She feels amazing now.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish they knew that Massage is more than a luxury it is a necessary part of healing and wellbeing. I also want them to know that Craniosacral can have profound and lasting effects on eliminating pain completely.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I am always taking continuing education because there is so much to learn about healing the body. I will be taking The two SomatoEmotional Release courses this year sometime. I also want to take come psychology classes as well.
