I have recorded over 30 songs with Rasharrd at DFG Studios. The job never takes a long time. It all depends on how prepared I am with my vocals, but he is always ready to work. Not only is he a producer of good music, he also has some intangible qualities that every beat maker and or engineer may not possess. Rasharrd has a great ear for music and is able to advise you in terms of effects to use in your music to appeal to a particular demographic. As a professional engineer, when he mixes your music, he will sometimes give you different mixes to choose from in which he has experimented with different effects. Rasharrd is also able to coach you in terms of how to deliver your lyrics whether you sing or rap: It may be something as simple as taking a word out to improve the flow of a rap or telling a singer to use less vibrato and sing their song in a more relaxed fashion. Although he may make suggestions, he does not over do it. If you are open to instructional feedback, it may improve your music. One of the things I like about working at DFG Studios is that the price is more than reasonable for the top quality service and product that you receive in return. After a recording session, I always receive a well mixed copy of my music through email within the next 24 hours. Depending on what time we recorded, I could receive it within a few hours.And if I choose to stick around while he is mixing I'll get a copy before I actually leave the studio. I have never had any problems with the service or the quality of the product that I get from Producer/ Engineer Rasharrd Mcmillan at DFG Studios.
