    My water heater had been leaking for months and up until recently was manageable. then the leak became stronger and was having to empty my bucket every 2-3 days to keep my laundry room from flooding.
    Rick assured me that he could fix the leak without having to replace the tank. Within a couple of hours and a few parts later, the water heater was up and running with no leaks whatsoever. He did a superior job with good time management and with minimal cost to me.
    Rick is honest, dependable and stays on the job until it's complete. You can't ask for anymore than that......in short he's awesome.
    I would recommend Rick with Rent-A-Hubby to anyone for any home repair job that you may have.

    I am so glad I found Rick with Rent-A-Hubby Handyman Services. He was so polite and courteous to answer all my questions on the phone that I gave him a try. Rick came to my home on time at the scheduled appointment and looked everything over on my 'honey-do list'. Within a few minutes, he had everything written down in a manner that I could understand what he was going to do. I was very happy with the very affordable price he gave me to get everything done I wanted. When he finished with all the projects, he had me inspect his work which was fantastic! A. Even though we perform an extensive variety of remodeling and repair projects, we do have a common request for our services.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always take the time to ask for and call referrals. By calling the handyman's referrals, you can get a pretty good picture of how he will perform the tasks you need to have done.

Here are a few good questions, you may wish to ask as a guidelines to ensure your choice in home services is the best:

a) Did the handyman keep the scheduled appointment? Was he late, if so did he call to inform you?

b) Did the handyman give you a clear and precise estimate? Did he do exactly as he promised? Did he clean up afterwards?

c) Would you allow this handyman to do work for your mother?

By asking these questions, you can save yourself a remarkably lot of heartache and regrets.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. One of the many requests I get as a handyman is that of hanging mirrors and pictures.

I am surprised to the many clients that simply to apprehensive to taking this task on themselves.

Here are a few abilities to consider when hanging mirrors and pictures on a wall.

1) Find the center of the space/wall. To do so, use a tape measure to get the distance from both right to left, called the span. Divide that number by 2 which wil give you the center of left to right.

2) Find the appropriate height. Most commonly if the object is a mirror, place the mirror at just above eye level. If the object is a picture, place the center of the picture at eye level.

3) Stability and security is the most important factor. For ultra light weight object, a simple nail can be driven into the wall. For much heavier object, I suggest using wall anchors, which are literally over-sized screws screwed into the wall with a smaller screw placed inside the wall anchor.

These few tips are most beneficial in hanging mirrors and pictures on the wall.

She stood there in awe and just giggled with joy! LOL That made it worth the challenge.
