Real Estate agents are paid via commission on sale for the most part. The commission is the amount times the purchase price for home. If you hire an agent to sell your home, then they will charge a percentage likely. In most cases, this percentage will be split with another agent who brings a buyer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview, interview, interview. Not all agents are created equal and talking to 2 or more will reveal this! You want to know how many "CLOSED" homes they had last year and are they full time at the bare minimum!
