- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin working with a new customer, I usually get the information about the animals I will be caring for and any instructions on medicines and feeding habits. This is obtained through a phone call with the client before the meet and greet. I meet the owners and their pets to establish friendship and familiarize the pets with my smell and touch, if possible before the customer leaves on their trip. I provide proof of insurance and bonding. Each new client receives a welcome letter and an organizational folder to note each reservation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Pet Sitter International, an excellent resource for education about my chosen field. I also have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
