Jamaul was amazing working with our 3 dogs on leash training. We learned so much in just one session. We have been able to immediately implement the new training techniques we learned. It was great to see results in just one session with all 3 dogs. Highly recommend and will be using again!

His backyard for the dogs to play in is insane , I felt comfortable and safe with the idea of my dog being there . I have continued to use him for doggy day care as well . he gave great training tips as well . I will refer everyone to him in the future

Jamaul truly helped me and my German Shepherd puppy get on the right path. My dog has been very responsive to Jamaul's training. Jamaul is extremely responsive to my communications, he is very punctual, and he is open to discussing the specifics of the training and the finances in depth in a very honest and fair manner, which I greatly appreciate. I found him to be very flexible and understanding, at the same time no BS and he tells me what needs to happen in order to achieve the results that I want, including telling me the factors that he can't control/the realistic uncertainty of it. I appreciate the level of respect and environment of accountability in this training community. I quickly realized once I began my training journey with my dog that sometimes the dog training world can be elitist/bring out people's egos or biases, especially for a young colored disabled neurodivergent female in the south; this hasn't been a problem at all with First Line K9. I've felt completely welcomed into not only the First Line family but the dog training community it is a part of. Jamaul is open to sharing resources and supporting the community. While he didn't have much experience with formal service dog training, I chose to work with him because I saw that the energy he put into his style of obedience training would give my dog the tools he needs to succeed at his job, namely discipline and confidence; and for the tasks, Jamaul is driven and resourceful enough to research and figure out how to maneuver their training, and adapt it to my and my dog's specific personality and issues. I appreciate that Jamaul takes his time in getting to know the animal and handler, versus just dragging them through a timed, generic syllabus like many other trainers. He took the time to respectfully ask the relevant questions about my medical situation, and showed appropriate empathy. He took time to understand how important my service dog's training is to me and takes it seriously. He has been patient with working with me through my symptoms; I don't have to wait for a symptom-free day to keep making progress with my dog's training, and setbacks when I am bedridden are understood and treated respectfully (versus being shamed, scolded, or pitied like I've experienced with other trainers). Would recommend 👍🏽
