Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. All of our projects are personally supervised by the principal of the company and only licensed plumbers and electricians are used to perform the mechanical tasks. No handymen are used for these critical components. The principal, a former residential builder, has over 20 years of experience and can diagnose and solve most structural issues that may come into play with home modifications for the disabled and seniors.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. It is most gratifying to be able to help families with disabled members, especially children with special needs and veterans of our military service. As a adult caregiver myself, I can directly relate to the challenges that families are faced with regarding care for their loved ones. Whether is be something simple as grab bars or the installation of a walk in tub, strategic home modifications can enhance the safety in the home, as well as providing the security and peace of mind.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Most customers ask about what modifications can provide the most benefit to their family members. Keeping in mind budgetary issues, something as simple as grab bar installation can cost as little as $ 75 each, but can provide simple safety features in the tub/shower area. When an accessible or barrier free shower is required, there are very affordable options if standard dimensions are in play. The ultimate in personal bathing is the installation of a walk in tub, that provides hydrotherapy, whirlpool and an in line heater. The cost of these improvements can be financed to reduce the cost to an affordable monthly outlay.
