Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Wedding ceremonies, cocktails, fundraisers, receptions, recitals.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for a wedding ceremony music or a background music for an anniversary party, or any other event, the first thing we recommend is to go to different sites and listen to the music excerpts provided. If you like the music, read some reviews. If you like what you see, give your candidate a call or contact them via e-mail. The more details you provide the easier it is for us to give you a correct quote and match you with a perfect ensemble.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We are professionally trained musicians who love to make music together. We offer exceptional customer service from the day of your first inquiry till after your event.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love to play violin. Since I decided to be a violinist at the age of 5 till now, it makes me happy to hold the instrument in my hands and make it sing, talk or cry.
I love to hear from patrons who come to Lark Duo recitals that it was the best concert they've heard in years.
I love to hear from my brides (and grooms) that the music was everything they could dream for and more.
I love to see children stop and listen to our playing and to see their eyes light up.
I love the fact that I can not only play myself but can also teach others to play this beautiful instrument.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can you provide a digital piano? Yes, we can.
What kind of clothes do you wear for the events? Concert black.
Can we hear you play "live"? You are very welcome to listen in during our regular rehearsals.
is this your "day" job? Yes, it is.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Start at the age of 7, or better 6 or 5. Practice 3+, or better 4,5,6 hours a day. If you still like to play your instrument in 10 years, you have a carrier ahead of you.
