Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you need to have your computer repaired, look for someone who is A+ Certified or the equivalent and has years of experience, preferably both. For Business IT support, make sure the person you call has plenty of experience in the field, so that the hourly work will be done quickly.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Every small business owner should know the basics of computer networking. You can read my article, Networking 101, at http://officenetworksusa.com/Networking-101.htm, to learn this!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. If you need a PC repaired, ask what kind of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions they observe, as it only takes one small static shock to ruin an electronic component!
