Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you hire someone that is going to charge you, hire someone that has done at least 10 weddings. If you are going to hire someone that is going to do it for free, please don't expect 1), your pictures to get back to you within the year, 2), the quality to be good, and 3) to even get any decent photos of you and your bride or groom. Hire somebody that has knowledge of the area, knowledge on how to use their camera in low light situations (Such as a dark church) as well as outside in the bright sun, or a cloudy day. These are the things I can do for you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. As a customer, I would want to know that the camera my photographer was using was more than 8mega pixels, and if my pictures would turn out grainy or not. My camera is 12 megapixels and the only time I get a grainy picture is when I am purposefully doing this in a low lit situation, and it sets the mood.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What are your prices, are you available on my wedding day, and can you provide a disc?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. I want my buyer/client to get the most out of their money. A photographer should not charge $1000 plus for a wedding package without offering some incentive, such as printing, cd's, albums, engagement sessions, etc. If you are paying good money for a wedding photographer, please make sure they are giving you what your money is worth. Pay for all your services up front. Alot of photographers try to stick you with behind the scene prices after you have been married, to lock you into more money for more stuff.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I provide excellent prints. I am fun and energetic, and I make friendships with my brides and grooms. If you aren't comfortable being in front of the camera, hire me! I'll be sure to loosen you up. You will be begging for more photos by the end of the night!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I LOVE photographing weddings. They are fun, energetic, full of love, and they come so naturally to me. Because I know what I am doing, I can get all the right shots and not worry about looking at my camera every 2 seconds to make sure that shot came out perfect. I know my camera, and my camera knows me. :)
